Amid the rubble of buildings destroyed during Israel’s war on Gaza, Hundreds of Palestinian couples come together to celebrate a mass wedding.
Despite the devastation and ongoing hardships, the celebrations reflect Palestinians’ resilience and determination to rebuild their lives.
“Despite the destruction and despite the war that came upon the Gaza Strip, we are a people who love to celebrate and love to live,” says groom Munir al-Tatari.
Another groom, Saed al-Najjar, says the occasion marks the beginning of a new chapter: “We are starting a new life.”
