Six citizens, including a mother and four of her children, were martyred in an initial toll of a Saudi airstrike that targeted the house of citizen Abdo Bajash in the Al-Masahin area of the Al-Shamaytin district in Yemen's Taiz governorate.
Information indicated that the family members were recovered from under the rubble after hours during which civil defense and rescue teams were unable to reach the site, while Saudi aircraft renewed their targeting of the area, concurrent with raids that also hit the Al-Zakira area in the same district.
These developments come amid accusations that Saudi aircraft are obstructing efforts to rescue the injured and recover the victims by renewing strikes during rescue operations.
