'US lies about Hormuz'

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says three oil tankers have caught fire after hitting mines in the Strait of Hormuz. According to the IRGC, the tankers had switched off their radars and ignored warnings from Iranian forces as they attempted to exit through an unauthorized route. The vessels are left stranded along the strait’s southern coast. All vessels have been warned that unauthorized routes are mined and vessel owners should not pay attention to CENTCOM’s 'delusions on social media'. The Iranian army’s Navy also says an oil tanker caught fire after striking naval mines in a restricted, unsafe area in the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz, leaving it unable to continue sailing. Meanwhile, IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebbi has dismissed US claims that it has cleared the Strait of Hormuz of mines, stressing that such assertions require independent evidence. Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC Major General Mostafa Izadi also said that the strait will remain blocked by the fighters of Islam until Iran's conditions are met.

Israel protests

Israeli police have violently cracked down on hundreds of people protesting against terrorist prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and calling for a Jewish-Arab coalition cabinet. The demonstrations were held in several cities across the occupied territories including Tel Aviv and Haifa. Protesters carried signs reading “Freedom for All” and “No More Divide and Rule” as political deadlock deepened following the vote. According to figures released by the Central Elections Committee, the pro-Netanyahu bloc holds 53 seats, while the opposition bloc has secured 48, with 90 percent of votes counted. The two main Arab parties are projected to win around 19 of the Knesset’s 120 seats. Without Arab party support, opposition figures and their allies appear to lack a clear route to unseating Netanyahu, while another round of elections could further complicate coalition-building efforts.
