To the National Hockey League, and in the West Division, the Minnesota Wild have edged past the bottom side Anaheim Ducks 3-2 at home.
The hosts took a 2-1 lead at the end of the opening frame. But Maxime Comtois leveled the match at a 2-apiece for the Ducks just 22 seconds in the middle frame. However, the Wild piled up the pressure and managed to earn full points after Nico Strum scored the winner in the same frame.
