Five people have been killed and 19 more injured in Saudi Arabia’s latest airstrike in the Yemeni capital Sana’a.

The casualties were announced early Sunday as Saudi war planes targeted several locations throughout the province.

An airbase and several other locations were also hit by Saudi jets in the southwestern province of Ta'izz.

Meanwhile the Shida and Razih districts in northwestern province of Sa’ada were pounded by the monarchy’s artillery fire.

Saudi Arabia has been conducting military strikes against Yemen since March 26 without a UN mandate. Approximately 2,000 people have been killed as a result of the conflict in the Arab country since March 19, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
